Our Current Harvest

We take the approach that diversity is good, and so we grow as many of the things that we like to eat as we can.  This diversity gives us the ability to rotate our crops to different parts of the farm each year, and that makes for stronger plants, a more sustainable environment, and healthier food. We try different varieties of everything that we grow, and that’s fun too. The list is always changing, but this is what we’re growing now in sufficient quantity that we plan to include them in the Farm to Friends harvest share boxes.

We grow many other things, but not always in enough quantity to make it into the boxes. Now, I know you’re saying, but what about corn? Like you, we love corn, but it takes up a lot of space to grow a healthy patch of corn.  Last time we did that, the squirrels were really happy, and they didn’t leave much for us.
